ニュースは日常
何を隠そうラジオが好きである。その中でも、伊集院光の番組が好きである。が、夜中にラジオをつけて遅くまで聞く事は出来ないので、とある方法でインターネットからダウンロードし、それをCDRに焼き、運転中に聴くという方法をとっている。
僕と同じマニアはたくさんいるみたいで、彼らが録音したラジオ番組を頂いて聴いているのだが、その中には10年前のものもあったりする。当時の交通情報や天気予報、ニュースも丸ごと入っているので聴いていて面白い。古いものなのに新鮮、みたいな不思議な感覚があるのだ。
ニュースは毎日生まれて、その度に報道され消費されたりして、いつの間にか忘れる事も多いけど9.11やイラク攻撃開始、もっと昔だとサリン事件などの大きなニュースが流れると当時の空気感を思い出す事が出来る。そしてその事件が起きた時に感じたやるせなさや悲しみ、危機感を忘れている自分が何だか恥ずかしく思える。でもそれもそのハズ、当事者を除けばどんなに大きな事件があったとしても、社会は変わらずに回り続け、そのニュースが発生した次の日には新しいニュースが生まれる。時間も社会も残酷なのだ。
ビルに飛行機が突っ込むあの映像を見る度になんだか慣れている自分に気づく。自分の中での映像や偽物の記憶みたいものが存在しているんだよね。でもこれって対岸の火事だからの事で、当事者にとってはそんな軽いものじゃないんだよね、きっと。

She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic but I had to tell someone!
