心の成長
ここのと所、スニーカー熱と共に読書熱が再燃している。1年の内にこういったバイオリズムの波は結構あるものである。性欲は1年中安定しているからいいとして、物欲はすごーく高かったり、ちょっとだけ高かったりと、気にならない時はいいのだけど、高い時は困りものである。
で、この読書欲にも波がある。これは量の変化であって、普段読まない作家の作品を読んだり、知らない作家に手を出したりはしない。というと、一度読んだ事のある作品をまた読む、という事になる。1冊の本を何度か読む事はちょっと面白い行為で、その時の年齢や環境で受け止め方が全く変わってしまう事がある。その自分の中での変化が面白い。
で、最近20歳ぐらいの時に読んだものを読んでいる。20歳ぐらいの時に読んだものってその後の自分の価値観や考え方を作ったり、人格形成に少なからず影響する。ある意味では自分の中でちょっと大事だったりするんだよね。で、久しぶりに当時読んだものを読み返したんだけど、まったく当時と同じ気持ちになっちゃったんだよね。ある程度経験が増えて大人になったつもりでいたんだけど・・・・、まだまだって事かな。

Today, I went to the beach front with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She placed the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off topic but I had to tell someone!

Excellent blog! Do you have any tips for aspiring writers? I'm hoping to start my own site soon but I'm a little lost on everything. Would you propose starting with a free platform like Wordpress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I'm completely confused .. Any suggestions? Appreciate it!
